Mine is a MegaHertz Electronics. You want a PC Card (not cardbus) modem that has a controller onboard and looks like a serial port to your computer. Beware of "winmodems", that run some of the modem functionality in the Windows driver. Clues on the box: "controller based" is good, as is something along the line of "works with <mumble> operating system(s)" where mumble is anything other than Windows.
