Hi dear GNOME team, I know that you like your desktop environment a lot and really I appreciate that, but does it has to be, that you need (non-optional!) gnome libs for apps as GIMP? What has GIMP to do with GNOME? I wrote my own port for this, because I like small systems. I don't use GNOME usually and I don't want it for GIMP, because GIMP just doesn't need it essentially. Perhaps you might check your ports and if some GNOME stuff is really necessary for some of them.. Great thanks! Hannes -- If the telephone rang today, water it!
