Dear System Administrator: There is an alarming trend toward holding system administrators both *personally* and *institutionally* liable for violations of privacy, copyright infringement, distribution of adult materials, etc. If you are involved in system or network administration, please download an important new article on how to protect yourself from *personal* and *organizational/institutional* liability. I also encourage you to review a related article on some additional liability risks and developments that you may not be aware of (and also available for downloading). These articles can be found at http://www.executive-forums.com These articles are both current and understandable. Topics include: How to draft an Acceptable Use Policy, how to deal with e-mail privacy challenges, how to manage the risk associated with adult materials and copyright and related problems, how to use disclaimers and warnings effectively, etc. Gary Setterberg Program Adminstrator U.S. Management Tutorials
