Yeah, this would be *especially* hot if FreeBSD could talk parallel to it in the same manner as lp0 but without the overhead of the current lp0 driver. I've seen it really drag a machine down, and that wouldn't be quite as tolerable with a dedicated ISDN parallel connection as your main feed. Jordan
