Hello, I'm curious if anyone has comments on moving a jail environment from one computer to another. Not having actually tried it yet, it would seem to be possible given: Both computers: are the same arch (i386, in my case). are running the same kernel and userland (e.g., FreeBSD RELENG_6_1) have identical jail environments (e.g., sysutils/ezjail) Of course, minor modifications may need to be made for IP addresses and such. It would seem this scenario would be good for developing things like web-based applications on a development server, then deploying the final product to a production server. Comments, thoughts, criticisms welcomed. -- Regards, Doug
