https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=196204 Bug ID: 196204 Summary: bsdinstall only configures one network interface Product: Base System Version: 10.1-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: rsimmons0@gmail.com Created attachment 150869 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=150869&action=edit Configuration of first interface When installing FreeBSD 10.1 using the default bsdinstall, configuration of a second network interface is overwritten or fails to write to /etc/rc.conf. I am using a VirtualBox VM with two virtio network interfaces. Both are detected properly and both are listed on the first stage of network configuration. Even though I configure each interface using bsdinstall's interface, only the second interface's config is written to /etc/rc.conf. It seems that the config for the second interface is the only one that gets written to /etc/rc.conf I have attached a video clip of the install process and at the end I cat /etc/rc.conf to demonstrate that there's only one configuration that was written to /etc/rc.conf -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
