Actually, OPTIONS was there already - marcus added it as an example when he committed bsd.port.mk changes, I guess. So my commit wasn't necessary at all. I just did a follow-up commit to remove=20 the duplicate definitions. BTW, I'd like to see OPTIONS near the top of the Makefile. As for backing it out - surely I can back it out if that's necessary. There is other thing, though: sgk@elf% make Syntax error: redirection unexpected *** Error code 2 Stop in /data/home/sgk/ports/snort.org/snort. (even with OPTIONS removed) Ideas?
