I'm seeing:

Installing pkg-1.10.5_5...

    If it's only the certificate issue, try this:
    
    cd /usr/local/etc
    cp pkg.conf.sample pkg.conf
    vi pkg.conf
    -------------
    PKG_ENV : {
            SSL_NO_VERIFY_PEER: 1
    }
