So why the "uhm"? > The problem is that firefox-3.6 requires at least jdk/jre-1.6.10. So if you need firefox+java you have to use www/firefox35 (3.5.9). Other browser have no such restriction on java plugin version. For example you can try www/seamonkey2 (former mozilla) if you want a gec= ko based browser (same engine used by firefox) working with java plugins = available on FreeBSD.
