Hello,
I am facing problems with PAP configuration in kernel ppp for server
side.
* /etc/ppp/options file :
crtscts
modem
idle 300
passive
debug
kdebug 2
40.0.0.218:40.0.0.217
nomagic
require-pap
auth
name divya #local name
remotename kush #peers name
* /etc/ppp/pap-secrets file :
kush divya dayal
* I invoke kernel ppp server as :
pppd /dev/cuaa1 -115200
* I get the following error message :
pppd: peer authentication required but no suitable secret(s) found
pppd: for authenticating peer kush to us (divya)
Can you tell me what is the problem ?
Thanks,
Divya
