The 'top' command takes thirty to sixty seconds to launch or longer in some cases. 2. Nullfs filesystem mounts take several minutes to apply. They used to happen in the blink of an eye. The systems have plenty of free memory, cpu, and low disk i/o. I suspect the cause of the slow down is not resource related, but something else in the kernel.
