We will have a number of FBSD servers at various locations and would like to trade graphic files between them automatically. These are not different version files, but mostly use once for publishing then throw away. 3 questions: 1) What's your experience with the various FTP mirror ports ? is there any you prefer or stay away from ? 2) Is the rsync port a good option ? 3) Is there a a way to invoke the mirror automatically, i.e. A file is dropped into a certain directory and upon sensing this it is automatically sent to another server. OR is a cron job the only way to go i.e. check for new files in the directories every x minutes ? Thanks in advance John...(FBSD Newbie) (Ignore the Visto footnote) ______________________________________________________________________ Get Visto.com!
