Sendmail was in mind not to work after i installed it and seemingly
adequately configurated, according to some guys i met on the IRC, but could
not work, i saw such messages in the log files

Aug  4 00:52:00 ketanu sm-msp-queue[364]: g73A4ovb036744:
[...]

 mailer=relay, pri=
1740047, relay=ketanu.dyndns.org., dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Connection refused by ke
tanu.dyndns.org.

where ketanu.dyndns.org is my host's name. I eventually received some
warning mails (from my host's MTA) to tell me about all the mails he could
not deliver (all mails i tried to send), and the messages told about DNS.

I removed the first line in my `/etc/resolv.conf' file that used to say
`search ketanu.dyndns.org' and it had always been here, although i do not
understand its function (since i do not now what is a `search list' in
name resolution context), and after the removal sendmail works good (after
being restarted).

I wonder because i ever had this search list on my host and it is the first
time i encounter a matter with name resolution.
