Dear,
On my Echos P133s Olivetti Laptop I tried to install FreeBsd 3.3. After =
creating the installation disks (I can't boot from the cd-rom drive) I =
tried to boot from these disks. This is what happened. After about one =
minute the system stops wtih the following statements:
/boot.config: -P
Keyboard: no
-
BTX loader 1.00 BTX version is 1.01
I had to reset the machine to be able to continue. Are there any tools =
to detect the hardware that is in the system? I saw in the documentation =
on the CD-rom an advise on using the 'userconfig' tool. Where on the net =
can I find it?
What is going on??
On the laptop the only installed software is DOS 6.3.
The bios system is PhoenixBIOS Version 4.04 1.32.1
Cd-rom: ATAPI IDE CD-ROM device driver V 1.58
MITSUMI ELECTRIC CO., LTD 1994-1998
unit 0, slave, IRQ 14, I/O address 0x01F0
MSCDEX Version 2.23
See you,
Michel
