I haven't had to boot up in single-user mode except for doing a 'make installworld' for quite a while now, but I notice that when I do the path doesn't include /sbin or /usr/sbin. I haven't been able to find how the default is set. Changing login.conf doesn't seem to have any effect. What can I do so I don't have to enter 'PATH=$PATH:/sbin:/usr/sbin; export PATH' whenever I go into single-user? (well, I guess now that I'm reverting to tcsh I would have to use 'setenv', right?) -- Roger "Too soon old, too late schmart!"
