[-- Attachment #1 --] Any ideas what could cause FreeBSD 4-stable to lock up hard? No response either over the network or on the console (though I forgot to try ctrl-alt-esc which sometimes worked when nothing else does, ctrl-alt-del didn't work though). No clues in the logs either, ... (The computer in question isn't mine, and I was out, which is why it took me three hours to find it.) As the screensaver on the console had kicked in I couldn't see if there were any clues there either. -- Ben Smithurst / ben@scientia.demon.co.uk / PGP: 0x99392F7D [-- Attachment #2 --] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 5.0i for non-commercial use MessageID: 3wujBIcjUJ9ag8LhYwKholaiSYskk4Ko iQCVAwUBOUaAVCsPVtiZOS99AQHttwP8C2YPaZViWBfFLAAyEL0SMtni2GSmPPD2 Cunf6wGM6vZHudkdzVPNiYDqs73nZ78W5udeU+tHzec9dDsysF+/v717eL6drTD5 6V+eQnOSdxqL0EYaXbo9QLyfNGgY8vCG/OVAeA/V164bmpM4Qt1NFM47bnPSn8Ya jNqOUCntXxk= =msLM -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----help
