In addition to Andriy, people MFC bugfixes and patches as their time and motivation permits. If you'd like to backport the patch yourself and test it out, then tell the author that the backport works, that'll dramatically increase the chances it gets done. Do that enough times and you'll likely find yourself with a commit bit, so you too can do the work yourself without having to ask for a committer to commit it. :) Adrian
