Then you have been lucky. :) Granted with the stronger materials used now in the wires, they're able to withstand it more. SCSI 68 and 80 pin is still susceptiable to it these days though... the internal wires are much smaller then UDMA. Even then I'd be willing to bet your sustained transfers have slowed down quite a bit. :) But... that's just my experiences the hard way... You have to do what works for you.
