let me clear this up:

1) current is *UNSUPPORTED*

2) it is especially *UNSUPPORTED* for install and upgrade issues
unless you are reporting a bug.

now please stop asking, no one is going to hold your hand through a 
-current update if you don't have the experiance to run -current.

if you feel you must run -current, then do a fresh install from 
ftp://current.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/snapshots/i386/ but please
respect the mailing lists and do not ask questions without doing any
research about unsupported portions of the system, it's really unfair
to pollute the list with this sort of thing.
