I'm not sure then. I'm successfully booting off Mylex AcceleRAID cards using SuperMicro motherboards. One of them is 370DLE and I have "ROM of BU2 DEV01" selected to boot off the Mylex card. That's why I told you to look at the ROM option, perhaps it would let you choose Mylex card. Your best bet now is to find someone who has the same mobo and a RAID/SCSI card or contact Intel for help -- if i'm not mistaken, they make the mobo in your box. -Simon On Wed, 18 Jul 2001 08:44:05 +0200, Joerg Traeger wrote: >> What happens when you select "option rom"? >> does it let you choose from a list of devices? >> >> -Simon >> >> On Tue, 17 Jul 2001 21:56:09 +0200, Joerg Traeger wrote: >> >> What are your options as far as choosing boot device? >> >> >> >> -Simon >> >> >> >> On Tue, 17 Jul 2001 21:06:02 +0200, Joerg Traeger wrote: >> >> >Using an Intel ISP1100 and a mylex acceleraid 170 I installed FreeBSD >> >> > 4.3R. As far as I know this option deals only with isa devices. >I thought it is the best to flash the motherboards bios.
