Hmmm.

I'm still seeing the problem under a recent (this wek) 4.8-STABLE.  I
installed straight from ports:

jdk-1.3.1p8_1       Java Development Kit 1.3
mozilla-1.3_1,2     The open source, standards compliant web browser

I may be using green_threads, though:

pun:~/src/environment$ java -version
java version "1.3.1-p8"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build
1.3.1-p8-root-030414-11:51)
Classic VM (build 1.3.1-p8-root-030414-11:51, green threads, nojit)

Can you tell me how to tell which system (green/native) the plugin is
using, and how to switch?
