(my setup?) I assume you are building on a current (ie 3.0) machine, update the ports/net/socks5 directory to include the patch for this ... or replace the FreeBSD*2* check with FreeBSD*. After this you need to recofigure. This patch won't be needed for the next release. Doug A.
