The above error indicates that the card is not configured for the right
interrupt. I don't know why the system has frozen; there are a couple of
possible reasons for that;
- there might be a bug in the kernel that is tickled by your config
- the card might have generated another (wrong) interrupt and
the system has not handled it well.
However, you shouldn't need the PAO patches at all for your setup.
