I have the 9 GB version (DDRS-39130W) and its probably twice as slow
as the quantum II's and III's on the same machine. It is cheap, tho,
the 9GB model is half again as slim as the Quantums, its never given
me any problems (unlike the quantums which have suffered 3 failures -
including a replacement unit which failed to work out of the box) and
runs very cool. *Much* cheaper than the quantums.

They are perfect if you need to fill a tower with a lot of drives
and put it on the web but they are not speed demons.
