Actually, now that I've gone and freakin' LOOKED at it rather than just idly speculating from memory, I see that there's no reason whatsoever for libdisk to need this information - there's already a published API function [Set_Boot_Blocks()] for doing this and it's really sysinstall's job to read the boot blocks in on libdisk's behalf.
