This sound a little bit p*****, here the more worked out answer. I have not much time because of "real life" job. So I want to concentrate on really necessary things. I'd suggest, that you bug qt people, to make separate thingies out of it and then we make two ports. Currently I could live with it "as it is". BTW, people we live in the century of 128 MB RAM and >= 10.2 GB IDE disks, aren't we ? And this even runs on 32/2 GB. So I really don't understand this all. QT is a pure desktop thing, so please don't try to play the "we speak about server performance" with me ;-) If you are really not satisfied with this, then I would like to give people with more time the advantage to take over maintainership of the qt port. I don't want to hinder developement, but I repeat it again, have no time for such extra work.
