For all who are unaware (i.e. most everyone) Andrew Gallatin and I have been working on the Alpha SMP code originally submitted by dfr and now have it up to single user mode on both a dual CPU 4100 and 2100. My latest patch can be found at http://www.FreeBSD.org/~jhb/patches/alpha.smp.patch, but it is now out of date as I've been committing parts of it. Drew has some slightly different code so we will need to resolve the conflicts and get it committed. There is still some work needed in the floating point area before we can get multiuser working, however. -- John Baldwin <jhb@FreeBSD.org> -- http://www.FreeBSD.org/~jhb/ PGP Key: http://www.baldwin.cx/~john/pgpkey.asc "Power Users Use the Power to Serve!" - http://www.FreeBSD.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
