There might be others like that. Make sure a lookup for 127.0.0.1 is answered by your nameserver. Actually, this is something that I was going to ask about in my previous post, but I plain forgot ;) Yes, telnetd does honor /etc/hosts, some MTA's don't. Is 127.0.0.1 in DNS?
