I built mod_jk from the ports a couple of weeks ago. However, I found that I was unable to load it because it depended on pthreads. Apache, by default, is not linked against the pthreads library. I therefore had rebuild Apache to build with pthreads (i.e., tweak the Makefile to add -pthread to the compiler options). -- Norbert Papke.
