You can tell for sure if you do an "fxtv -debug startup". If you see one of these messages: XF86DGA not available...X Server isn't local. XF86DGA extension not found XF86DGA{QueryVersion,QueryDirectVideo}() failed XF86DGAQueryDirectVideo() reports DGA not avail you're not using DGA. BTW, I'm also running 4.0.3 on 4.3-STABLE (from 6/24). If you "don't" see one of these messages, I'd love to know how it is working for you. Can I get your XF86Config?
