fenner> It looks for the file referred to by SENDMAIL_SUBMIT_MC in the sendmail fenner> source dir, when it only exists in /etc/mail . Ahh, the man page states: SENDMAIL_SUBMIT_MC The default m4 configuration file for mail submission to use at install time. The value should include the full path to ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ the file, e.g., /etc/mail/mysubmit.mc. And make.conf reinforces it: # The following sets the default m4 configuration file for mail # submission to use at install time. Use with caution as a make # install will overwrite any existing /etc/mail/submit.cf. The # value should be a fully qualified path name. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ # #SENDMAIL_SUBMIT_MC=/etc/mail/mysubmit.mc To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
