These special argument must go before the normal ones. This is true for all command in Unix. You have to place the -c argument before to-addr. For mail argument afther the to-addr are sendmail argument. So your -c didn't command to cc this also to person x. Yes you're exactly right! Thanks ! All is working now. - aW
