It should work, shouldn't it ? Do I mis-interpret > e.g. usbd.conf(5) ? Try running usbd from a console or xterm with the -d flag. This gives debugging output, so you can see what's going on. If you're using devfs, make sure that you have a devfs.rules to set the user/group and the right permission for the scanner device. Roland --=20 R.F.
