Gives 'Yes':

$ find . -type f -exec fgrep -i 08f0 {} /dev/null \;
./work/webcamd-3.0.0.2/man4/stv06xx.4:.It 046d:08f0      Ta "Logitech QuickCam Messenger"
...

but does not work :-)
