I ran my first 286 UNIX for 5 years; my second 386 SVR4 box for 5 years; and am going on 3 years with my P90. (My 6x86 is an upgrade of the 386. ) I don't claim that it's a virtue to cheat Intel out of even more billions; just unnecessary.
