There are basically 3 "species" of mouse: 1. The serial mouse, fits into a rs232 serial port. 2. PS/2 mice, fits into a secondary (auxillary) port on the keyboard controller on the Motherboard, often one of those little round DIN like connectors now also often used for keyboards. 3.
