'make' ? If you are running 2.1.6 (2.2?) or later, there is a quickcam driver, qcam, built into the kernel. All you need is a device qcam0 at isa? port 0x378 tty irq 7 flags 0x1 in your kernel config. 1.1 is old, btw, I've seen 1.2. This is basically the same thing you are trying to compile.
