It should be supported through the PAO boot floppy.  PAO is an advanced
PCCARD support system.  See http://www.jp.freebsd.org/PAO/.

Sure can.  Just set up the ftp server with anonymous access and mount the
CD under/pub/FreeBSD/2.2.2-RELEASE/.
