We watch both, plus also the work Theo is welcome to his opinion. However, the fact is that people in the FreeBSD group do watch OpenBSD and NetBSD for important changes and incorporate them into FreeBSD if they are relevant and useful. But none of this makes any difference. We have different and conflicting personalities in the groups that make a merger of people impossible. Let me repeat: this will never happen, and any force applied in that direction is very much unwelcome. We are all working on FreeBSD because we enjoy doing it. Our core team is made up of people that generally get along quite well and I'll fight to the end to make sure it stays that way. -DG David Greenman Co-founder/Principal Architect, The FreeBSD Project To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the messagehome | help
