Uwe,
I have several compaq 800's running various versions of fBSD 3.4,
4.0-20000214 & 4.0r, all run apache, with mysql, postgres, php3, two are
running realserver as well. two have wd 18g 10k rpm drives not striped...and
the other has two 9g 7200rpm IBM drives also not striped.... All three are
500Mhz with only 64M, cause compaq compatable mem ain't cheap. I plan on
redoing the 4.0c to 4.0r in the future and then playing around with
striping...Personnaly you can build your own machine from stock parts, but
you can't beat the 3yr warranty on this thing... I personnally bought one
for myself...
