I don't think it'd be a problem to leave them. Just make sure when you are executing the commands, you execute them from the proper directory. If you want to use /usr/local/bin/lpr most of the time, then you can set /usr/local/bin to be before /usr/bin in your PATH var, etc. Bruce Dang www.tbug.org "R.
