If so, what was the final word? Eric, as far as I can see, you've already done a lot of work. IMHO, you have already passed the difficult part of getting something that works. The best thing that could be done is to write a design document of some sort that describes at least: a) What the problems with the current search engine are. b) How you went about solving them. c) How the new search engine works. This looks then like a very serious proposal, and I'm sure nobody will take it lightly. What do you think?
