According to Netgear docs (the one on the floppy provided with the card) you must use a PCI slot supporting Bus Mastering, so the problem should occur on other OS. > I think it's not a bad idea to put this hint into the drivers' man > pages, where the watchdog timeout is introduced. > It's "at least" in the Handbook :) I will try to see what can I do on various NIC chipset drivers manual pages since the problem is not specific to sis(4).
