I was arguing with the KDE developers for a while cuz I thought it was their fault. I used to erratically get into situations where I would type and a few seconds later my keystrokes would come up. I was missing interrupts in /var/log/messages I think also. Anyway I've been using sysmouse for over a year and not had the problem since. If you aren't using Sysmouse in X... that could be the whole problem. Davehelp
