You haven't told me if you are getting static LDT warnings out of the kernel (check /var/log/messages). libthr, libkse, and nvidia drivers/OpenGL use LDTs and %gs. nvidia drivers (and/or their version of OpenGL) stomp on the LDTs/%gs that both libthr and libkse use. -- Dan Eischen
