Exactly. The only programmers that the GPL will hurt are the Bill
Gates wannabes. Anyone willing to consider options other than making a
fortune by building a monopoly in commodity software can trivially
make a living better than 90% or more of the population of the US. The
ones in that category willing to take the risk of starting a business
can do very well.
