All 3 of the firewalls that come with 5.4 have no way to filter on the content in the payload. Only the fields in the header are accessible for filtering. Firewalls are covered in detail in the FreeBSD handbook. http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/firewalls. html -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org]On Behalf Of apple Sent: Sunday, June 12, 2005 9:01 AM To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.org Subject: ipfw hello i have question how write rule for filtering in ipf hex-sequence or keywords which content in packets?? _______________________________________________
