With nvidia.ko it says "device s= uspend failed", without nvidia.ko it enters S3 but never returns back. It's not big problem, though, at least for me :-) With acpi_video.ko it's possible to control LCD brightness, it's good :-) Remember, that there is no S3 support at all on AMD64. My opinion is that F= reeBSD/i386 is an optimal choice for laptop, when there is no need for 4+ G= b of RAM. There is also Web camera present, but it's not supported by FreeBSD (it's U= VC capable, aand FreeBSD doesn't have UVC support yet). =20 --=20 Ilya Bakulin <webmaster@kibab.com> --Signature=_Sun__5_Oct_2008_18_48_36_+0400_Nh3I_j1zIhJVkO+A Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (FreeBSD) iEYEARECAAYFAkjo09AACgkQo9vlj1oadwgVJQCcD+BFBDpjaK9Z2JGAVu6qoExn /a0An2tAPdMvRxZVSsXJd+14D+N85Z9e =nCsI -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Signature=_Sun__5_Oct_2008_18_48_36_+0400_Nh3I_j1zIhJVkO+A--
