My guess is that 4.1.0 kernel module became heavier on CPU and this impacts sound. I keep seeing this. This is probably general vbox bug, not FreeBSD port one. Could you also publish port directory for 4.1.0 virtualbox-ose? I ran Android-2.2. It runs ok, but no sound. The reason is that VBox only has OSS option enabled (probably because your build has --disable-pulse) and Android only supports ALSA and PulseAudio (through patch). Yuri
