Thanks! It's working now, I had NO_BUILD=YES right after do-install, I moved that up on the Makefile and all is good.

You have to use the shell command direct after a make target
Please post your Makefile or the relevant snippet with some more relevant lines.
working example:
post-install:
@(cd ....)
.for ...
.endfor
non working example:
post-install:
.for ...
.endfor
@(cd ...)
